Counselor's Corner

My name is Lisa Mandia and I am the School Counselor at Broad Street Elementary School!

This is my first year in the Mechanicsburg Area School District, and I am very excited to be joining the Wildcat community.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh and my Master’s degree from Messiah College in School Counseling. I am a certified School Counselor for grades K-12.

As a school counselor, my job is to help your students develop in all areas, including academic, career and social/emotional. I teach lessons on a variety of topics from listening skills to growth mindset. I also look forward to communicating and collaborating with families so we can work towards our common goal of student success.

I can be reached by e-mail at or by phone at 717-691-3328.
